Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program call for application. The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is once again calling for applications for the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program for 2015-16 fellowship year. This 5-month program is intended to support practitioners, scholars, leading democracy activists and journalists from around the world. Online application may be submitted until October 15, 2014. Give2Asia call for proposals. Interested and eligible organizations are called to send their proposals on Disaster Preparedness and Resiliency Programs. Applications for this grant round must be received by August 31, 2014. This invitation is open to local NGOs and community-based organizations (CBOs) in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar,Philippines, and Vietnam. One-year projects up to $25,000 and two-year projects up to $50,000 that will prepare communities for disaster will be considered. Read full announcement here.
PACAP call for proposals,EXTENDED TO AUGUST 8, 2014! The Philippines-Australia Community Assistance Program (PACAP), through The Asia Foundation (TAF), invites interested and qualified CSOs to submit proposals for 2014. PACAP supports the Australia-Philippines aid partnership to effectively reduce poverty and promote sustainable economic and social development in the Philippines. This year, PACAP will provide grants for up to 25 projects worth about Php1.5 million each with an implementation period of up to 18 months. Approved projects are expected to start by September 2014.
