BDO Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank, continues to look after its beneficiaries after the completion of its projects. In line with its reconstruction program, the foundation recently performed maintenance and repair works on seven school buildings it has constructed in areas affected by Typhoons Tisoy and Ursula. Covered in the initiative were structures built in Efraim Santibañez National High School in Iloilo, Giporlos National Trade School in Eastern Samar, Lawaan National School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries in Eastern Samar, Mondragon Agro-Industrial High School in Northern Samar, Panalaron Central School in Leyte, San Jose Central School in Leyte, and Streetlight Study and Development Center in Leyte.
BDO Foundation has constructed more than 30 school buildings in economically disadvantaged and disaster-stricken communities across the country. The corporate citizenship initiative supports the Department of Education’s Adopt-A-School Program and efforts to address the need for more classrooms in the country.
