Theme: The Gerry Roxas legacy continues in the lives we live
23 October 2017
Kia Theatre, Araneta Center, Quezon City
The Gerry Roxas Foundation (GRF) was founded in the Philippines in 1958 to continue the legacy of the late Senator Gerry Roxas. It is one of the oldest award giving organizations, recognizing outstanding public and private high school graduates through the Gerry Roxas Leadership Awards which now number more than 40,000 awardees nationwide. Over the years, GRF evolved into a premier social development institution with programs in leadership development, barangay justice, community outreach and governance to support its vision of “empowering leaders and transforming communities for nation-building”.
This year’s 60th Anniversary celebration of GRF aims to showcase its various program milestones. The celebration will commence with a mass to be officiated by Most Reverend Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle, D.D. at 4:30 PM followed by a short program and cocktail reception. The highlight of the event is a video presentation and photo exhibit showcasing 60 years of work and the recognition of outstanding leadership excellence awardees composed of individuals and/or institutions whose contributions enabled GRF to pursue its vision and mission in nation-building. See attached program.
All members of the Association of Foundation (AF) are invited to the event. Please confirm your attendance by October 10, 2017 to Edith Fernandez through telephone number (02) 421.4006 local 117 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
