The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) issued Memorandum Circular No. 17 Series of 2018 regarding the revised guidelines governing the registration, licensing of social welfare and development (SWD) agencies, and the accreditation of SWD activities. Considering the importance of understanding the new guidelines in terms of compliance, AF will be hosting a forum where the salient points of MC 17-2018 will be discussed by representatives of the DSWD’s Standards Bureau. It would also be a good opportunity for organizations that are covered by the guidelines to seek clarifications, if there are any, on the revised procedures.
In this regard, we would like to invite you to attend the forum which will be held on July 26 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at the GRF Training Room, 11th Floor Aurora Tower, Aurora Boulevard, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
Due to limited slots, only 2 persons per organization will be accommodated. There is a registration fee of P500 per person which must be paid no later than July 19 in order to secure the slot. Unpaid slots will automatically be cancelled after July 19.
