Dear AF Members and ZEP2030 Partners,
In response to the request for a follow-through activity to the “Introduction to Impact Evaluation” seminar conducted by the Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Philippines last July 11, 2017, we will be conducting another activity for a more in-depth discussion on the technical aspects of monitoring and evaluation. This will include a recap of the presentations from the first seminar, with more dialogue with the participants to ensure that those who did not attend the previous activity will have sufficient introduction to impact evaluation while keeping previous participants engaged.
More specifically, the objectives of this second workshop are as follows:
1. Deepen understanding of impact evaluations for program implementers
2. Illustrate when randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are applicable and what to do if a program/organization is not yet ready for an RCT
3. Build knowledge and appreciation of monitoring and evaluation in program implementation
The “RCTs and Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop” will run for two days, on 12-13 October 2017, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Association of Foundations office, 11th Floor Aurora Tower, Aurora Boulevard, Cubao, Quezon City. Attached is a copy of the workshop program and the brief profile of resource persons.
Please note that there are limited slots. Participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and there is a registration fee of P1,500.00/person. To register, please fill-up the Reply_Form and submit it by fax at 911-9792 or 913-7231 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org on or before 29 September 2017.
