Navigating the new normal: Smile Train’s First Virtual Cleft Conference for Patients and Families

Due to the pandemic, families and guardians have been challenged to meet doctors and therapists face-to face in hospitals. Smile Train aimed to address general cleft concerns from January 8 to February 5, 2021 by facilitating the first Cleft Con in the Philippines.

For free, five episodes were streamed including health, surgery, and speech as the main talking points and viewers were also able to participate in post-presentation Q&A’s to further clarify inquiries from experts.
