The Association of Foundations (AF), in partnership with the Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), held an Orientation on the Poverty Probability Index and the Family and Community Visioning on 19 September 2018 at the SIFI Training Center in Talisay City, Negros Occidental. The activity was proposed by AF members who participated in the Visayas regional meeting during the 46th AF General Assembly in May 2018.

The Poverty Probability Index (PPI) is a country-specific poverty measurement tool which determines the probability that a household is living below poverty line. Mr. Marius Karabaczek of IPA provided participants with a more in-depth discussion on the PPI, including how to interpret and use data for their respective organizations and programs.

The session on the Family and Community Visioning (FCV) Module was prepared by AF for the Zero Extreme Poverty 2030 coalition (ZEP2030). The FCV serves as a guide for engaging partner communities in the planning process towards collective action.

AF is a convenor of ZEP2030 and is the lead organization for the ZEP2030 Education Cluster.
