Some AF members based in Negros attended this forum which was held on August 14 at the CICM Retreat House in Talisay City, Negros Occidental. Among those present were representatives from Negros Economic Development Foundation, Ilog Kinderhome Foundation, MUAD-Negros, Chito Foundation, Sugar Industry Foundation, and H.O.P.E. Volunteers Foundation. The event was hosted by the Negros Provincial Government, Alter Trade Foundation, and Paghiliusa sa Paghida-et Negros. Guest speakers included Professor Alih Aiyub  who spoke about preventing and confronting terrorism from the Ulama’s perspective, and Milet Mendoza, a peace worker who shared how to understand the Islamist extremist’s psyche.
