The Association of Foundations (AF), Caucus of Development NGO Networks (CODE-NGO), Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. (FSSI), Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) hosted the forum Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and why it matters for NGOs. The event was held face-to-face this morning, July 25, at The Hub in Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City. Mr. Elvin Uy, Executive Director of PBSP and resource speaker for the forum, led the discussion about AI and some of the underlying technologies, applications and use cases, and potential benefits for humanity as a whole, as well as understanding its ethical considerations including transparency, bias, and privacy.
