CHED K to12 Transition Program – Community Service and Extension Survey

EXTENDED DEADLINE: Friday, March 4, 2016

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has established the K to 12 Transition Program designed primarily to help colleges and their personnel to mitigate the impact of the decrease in college enrollment this year because of the institutionalization of the Senior High School component in our education system.  The ultimate goal is not to lose college personnel during the K to 12 transition period and have them operational and ready to take in the Senior High graduates by 2018.

Under the program, higher education faculty who have reduced workloads during the transition period will be eligible to receive grants from CHED so that they may participate in a variety of engagements under the following components: Continuing Professional Education, Research & Development, Community Service and Extension and Industry Immersion, among others.

CHED is currently soliciting information from possible partner organizations under the Community Service and Extension components of the program in order to integrate these in the program design. In this regard, we are inviting AF members who are interested to be a prospective NGO partner  in this program to kindly fill-up the survey form and send it back to us either by fax at (02) 911-9792 or 913-7231 or by email at no later than 5pm tomorrow, January 12.
