“In a crowded marketplace, not standing out is the same as being invisible.”

Marketing expert Seth Godin’s famous quote doesn’t just apply to corporations, but to nonprofits as well.¬†However, simply being visible, in the absence of a¬†clear, compelling¬†definition of who you are, invites the risk of others defining you and your work.

Now more than ever, it is critical for nonprofits to communicate publicly and regularly: to strengthen programmatic impact, increase stakeholder engagement, and demonstrate integrity through results.

In this regard, AF will be holding forum on ‚ÄúEnhancing Nonprofits’ Impact and Visibility through Strategic Communications.‚ÄĚ The resource speaker, Ms. Cecile Dominguez, Chief Operating Officer of Evident Strategic Research and Consulting and currently a member of the AF Board of Trustees, will provide an overview for strategic communications planning and implementation for nonprofits, and present simple and actionable ways for nonprofits to improve communications, especially through social media.

The forum will be held at the Philippine Center for Population and Development (PCPD) in Pasong Tamo Extension, Taguig City on August 26, from 2-4pm.  Registration starts at 1:30pm.
