The Association of Foundations (AF) in partnership with the Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) partnered anew for the next edition of the Doing Good Index due in 2024. As part of the process, AF gathered the views of local experts on the non-profit sector and on the policy environment that governs local philanthropy in an Experts’ Meeting held on June 22 at Novotel Manila in Cubao, Quezon City. Representatives from the BIR, SEC, DSWD, Ateneo de Manila University, CODE-NGO, FSSI, PCNC, and PICPA attended the meeting. AF recently conducted a survey among NGOs to gather data that will, likewise, inform DGI 2024. Seventeen other Asian economies are participating in the project.
