As part of a shared advocacy to address hunger, promote food security and support underserved sectors of society, BDO Foundation has inked an agreement with East-West Seed Foundation (EWSF) to promote proper nutrition through improved vegetable consumption. Through a partnership project called Gulayamanan, BDO Foundation and EWSF will establish vegetable gardens in economically disadvantaged communities. The initiative will provide additional food supply to the communities and enable residents lacking livelihood opportunities to earn some income. In line with its financial inclusion advocacy, BDO Foundation will also conduct financial literacy training sessions for the beneficiaries.

Launching its Christmas campaign called “Pasko sa Bahay ni Juan,” Habitat Philippines encourages Filipinos to start a tradition of giving back and help build resilient, sustainable communities by supporting programs for housing, community development, disaster response, hygiene promotion, and youth and volunteer engagement.
Nearing the end of the year, Passerelles numériques Philippines (PNPh) campaigns to fight poverty through digital education. This fundraising activity aims to reach a goal of PhP 900,000.00 by the end of the year. Proceeds will be used in supporting the education, training, and boarding of the PNPh scholars.
