AF, TIPF HOLD FACE-TO-FACE SESSION OF WRITE IT RIGHT.

The Association of Foundations (AF), in partnership with TELUS International Philippines Foundation, Inc. (TIPF), hosted a face-to-face session of the workshop “Write it Right” on December 1, 2022 at Novotel Manila Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City. Inputs on PDIMME was provided by Ms. Pia Ortiz-Luis and on Risk Management by Ms. Joji Abot-Camelon. A highlight of the event was a panel discussion with seasoned resource mobilization leaders including Mr. Mario Deriquito of BDO Foundation, Dr. Harvey Carpio and Ms. Mylene Lagman of Childhope Philippines, Mr. Felix Tonog of PCNC, Ms. Boots Mendoza, and Mr. Austere Panadero of The Zuellig Family Foundation. TIPF’s Ms. Phoebe Carrera also discussed their funding guidelines. AF HOLDS SESSION WITH ZEP2030 LOCAL CONVERGENCES AND PARTNERS.

The Association of Foundations (AF), a co-Lead Convenor of the Zero Extreme Poverty 2030 (ZEP2030) Movement, successfully organized a learning session on “Bridging and Building Strategic Collaborations in ZEP2030 Communities” held last November 15, 2022. The virtual session was designed to bring together ZEP2030 local convergences and prospective partners, and demonstrate the role of local convergences in achieving collective impact and helping Filipino families rise above extreme poverty. The session featured the poverty profile and collaborative efforts in four areas, namely, Quezon City, La Union, Eastern Samar, and Bukidnon

INVITATION TO ENROLL: AF’s LEAD TO SERVE COURSE – BATCH 4

We are pleased to announce the opening of the fourth batch of our LEAD to Serve Course, covering the 10 leadership competencies of the Philippine NGO Leadership Competencies Framework. The Course features assessments of the leadership competencies and organizational capacities, planning to achieve results, mentoring support and hybrid sessions (in-person, synchronous and asynchronous). Registration fee is P75,000 for AF members and P85,000 for non-AF members. Limited slots only. We will accommodate applications until January 31, 2023 or until all slots are taken, whichever comes first.
