From the day-to-day work of Smile Train and that of its partners and advocates, women have been instrumental in driving the organization’s cause.  In commemoration of this year’s National Women’s Month and the International Women’s Day theme, #BreaktheBias, Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft-focused organization, celebrates its women who empower others to go against bias and stigma brought about by physical differences and promote a more welcoming and inclusive society for all individuals born with cleft.

From statements meant to prove that women, too, can lead in their respective fields to the role that Smile Train and its partners play in providing opportunities especially to women with cleft, the month-long celebration was published on the official page.
