JAAF launches youth-led community development challenge

J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF), through Spark-A-Change, creates pockets of positive social changes in different corners of the Philippines through the projects that are birthed in the Challenge and, at the same time, invests in the development of the future generation of leaders. It is aimed to empower the youth as agents of positive social change in their communities.

Last 31 May 2023, JAAF launched Spark-a-Change Year 3 on its social media pages. Started in 2021, JAAF piloted the Challenge among its Scholars as part of their community outreach activities.  For 2022, it became nationwide and awarded grants of Php5,000 to Php20,000. To date, 9 organizations received grants from Negros Occidental, Batangas, Cagayan de Oro City, Isabela, Laguna, Baler, Cebu, Nueva Ecija, and Lanao del Sur. This year, JAAF will support ten winning entries with grants worth Php25,000 each for project implementation.

Spark A Change is open to all Filipino youth organizations and groups, with members from ages 15-30. Are you interested? Scan the QR code for Project details and the application form. You may also click this link, alternatively: https://spark-a-change-2023.jamadoaranetafoundation.org/
