JOLLIBEE GROUP BOOSTS ‘PROJECT KARINDERYA’ WITH PUSH ON FOOD SAFETY.

Together with Jollibee Group restaurant teams and Global Quality Management Unit, Kabuhayan sa Ganap na Kasarinlan Credit and Savings Cooperative (KCoop) and KASAGANA-KA Development Center, Inc. (KDCI), a learning session was held for almost 70 karinderya owners from Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal to share best practices on food safety. The activity sought to spread and increase awareness on the importance of safe and clean food, with an emphasis on proper handwashing. It is part of "Project Karinderya," which was launched by JGF, KDCI, and KCoop in mid-2020 to help micro-entrepreneurs sustain their business and provide food to communities through meal subsidies
