Adarna Group Foundation, Inc. (AGFI) and LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation, Inc. (LBCF) renewed their commitment as early literacy partners to create communities of readers and develop Filipino children’s love for books. Both signed a memorandum of agreement on May 22, 2023 for the second implementation of Step by Step programs in Anao, Ramos, and San Manuel, Tarlac and Samal, Bataan. They are set to provide capacity-building support and reading materials to 1,000+ partner beneficiaries, including health workers, child development workers, parents, and children. To kick off the Unang Isang Libong Araw, Unang Aklat, and Handang Magbasa programs, AGFI and LBCF visited its partner communities. The Foundations, together with LBC Express, Inc. volunteers, also organized a day of storytelling, crafting, and playing for the 38 daycare students from Ibaba and San Juan child development centers in Samal, Bataan.
