Del Monte Foundation, in partnership with the Mercury Drug Foundation thru the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), turned-over a level 2 water system to Sitio Kilaug, Poblacion in Sumilao on October 4, 2022.
A total of eight (8) communal faucets were installed to provide potable water to 200 families. The residents used to get water for their day-to-day needs from either a local spring or river.
Present during the simple turn-over ceremony were Sumilao Mayor Jose Antonio A. Villo and Poblacion Barangay Chairman Cesar Tan.
This project was implemented as part of DMFI’s efforts to address extreme poverty in the province thru the ZEP2030 Movement initiatives.
